Seroflo 250 Rotacaps are used for the regular, long-term control of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults. They contain fluticasone propionate, an inhaled corticosteroid, and salmeterol, a long-acting bronchodilator.
This medicine helps prevent wheezing, chest tightness and breathlessness. Inhale it using the Rotahaler device in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and keep using it even when you feel well. It is not meant for immediate relief during a sudden attack. Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after each dose.
Correct inhaler technique is essential, so ask your doctor or pharmacist to show you how to use the device. Quitting smoking, avoiding smoke and dust, and staying up to date with vaccinations help protect your lungs.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have heart conditions, an overactive thyroid, diabetes or low blood potassium, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor if your reliever inhaler seems less effective or is needed more often. Ask your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed treatment plan, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop using the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
