CompositionFORAIR 250 RESPICAPS 30 is used for the long-term maintenance treatment of asthma and COPD in adults, to control symptoms, improve breathing and reduce the risk of flare-ups.
It is a combination medicine for inhalation containing salmeterol (50 mcg), a long-acting bronchodilator, and fluticasone propionate (250 mcg), an inhaled corticosteroid. Use it regularly as prescribed using the appropriate inhaler device. The capsule is for inhalation only and must not be swallowed.
Rinsing the mouth and gargling with water after each use helps prevent a fungal mouth infection (oral thrush) alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any heart conditions or diabetes before starting, and about other medicines you take. Keep a short-acting reliever inhaler for sudden symptoms. Report a sudden worsening in breathing after using this inhaler.
