SACUBRIGHT 200 TABLET 7 is a medicine used to treat long-term (chronic) heart failure in adults. It helps the heart pump blood more efficiently and lowers the risk of heart failure worsening and of being admitted to hospital.
It is a combination medicine belonging to the group of medicines called angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitors (ARNIs). It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels and supporting the body's natural defences against heart failure, which eases the workload on the heart. It is usually taken twice daily. Continue taking it even if you feel well, and do not stop it without medical advice.
Healthy lifestyle changes support treatment alongside this medicine. These include reducing salt in your diet, following any advice on fluids, staying as active as your doctor advises, and limiting alcohol.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems or other medicines you take, and whether you are pregnant or planning pregnancy, as it is not suitable in pregnancy. Your doctor will monitor your kidney function and potassium. Seek urgent help if you notice swelling of the face, lips, or tongue (angioedema).
