Vymada 200 mg Tablet is used to manage symptomatic chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in adults, to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death, and to lower the chance of hospitalisation caused by worsening heart failure.

Uses of Vymada 200 mg Tablet are:

• Heart Failure Management: Supports management of chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.
• Cardiovascular Death Risk Reduction: Helps lower the risk of cardiovascular death.
• Hospitalisation Prevention: Reduces the risk of hospitalisation due to worsening heart failure.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Vymada 200 mg Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Sacubitril (97 mg): This ingredient is a prodrug, which transforms into another compound called LBQ657 inside your body. LBQ657 blocks an enzyme called neprilysin, responsible for breaking down natriuretic peptides (NPs). By inhibiting neprilysin, sacubitril helps increase NP levels, promoting the removal of salt and water from your body through urine, widening your blood vessels, and reducing certain hormone secretions.

• Valsartan (103 mg): Valsartan works by blocking a particular receptor in your body known as the angiotensin II type-1 (AT1) receptor. This action prevents harmful effects like narrowing of blood vessels, retention of water and salt in your body, and abnormal growth of heart cells.

• Store Vymada 200 mg Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
