Vymada 200 mg Tablet is used for managing:

• Symptomatic chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in adults. This type of heart failure occurs when the heart muscle doesn't contract effectively, which reduces the amount of oxygen-rich blood that's pumped out to the body.

• Mitigating the risk of cardiovascular death, by helping to manage heart function and maintain blood flow.

• Reducing hospitalisation due to heart failure, by improving the heart's ability to pump blood efficiently.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Vymada 200 mg Tablet is taken orally.

Vymada 200 mg Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Sacubitril (97 mg): This ingredient is a prodrug, which transforms into another compound called LBQ657 inside your body. LBQ657 blocks an enzyme called neprilysin, responsible for breaking down natriuretic peptides (NPs). By inhibiting neprilysin, sacubitril helps increase NP levels, promoting the removal of salt and water from your body through urine, widening your blood vessels, and reducing certain hormone secretions.

• Valsartan (103 mg): Valsartan works by blocking a particular receptor in your body known as the angiotensin II type-1 (AT1) receptor. This action prevents harmful effects like narrowing of blood vessels, retention of water and salt in your body, and abnormal growth of heart cells.

• Store Vymada 200 mg Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
