Vymada 200 mg Tablet is used to manage symptomatic chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in adults, helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalisation due to heart failure.
It is a combination medicine containing sacubitril and valsartan, and belongs to the class of angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitors (ARNI). Take it at the same time each day as prescribed, with or without food. If switching from an ACE inhibitor, your doctor will advise a gap of at least 36 hours between the last dose of the ACE inhibitor and starting this medicine.
Reducing salt intake, monitoring your weight for sudden changes, staying physically active as advised, and attending regular check-ups support safe treatment alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, or if you are taking an ACE inhibitor or potassium supplements, before starting this medicine. Report any swelling of the face or throat, severe dizziness, reduced urine output or fainting immediately. This medicine must not be used during pregnancy.
