Neptaz 200 Tablet 7 contains the following ingredients:

Sacubitril (97 Mg): It is an angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitor that blocks an enzyme called neprilysin from breaking down good substances in our body called natriuretic peptides. These natriuretic peptides are helpful because they relax and widen our blood vessels, reduce fluid buildup, and lower blood pressure.
Valsartan (103 Mg): It is an angiotensin receptor blocker that blocks the effects of an angiotensin II hormone, which usually narrows our blood vessels and increases our blood pressure. Valsartan inhibits angiotensin II, and causes blood vessels to relax and widen. This reduces our blood pressure and makes blood circulation smoother for the heart.

Pregnancy

Neptaz 200 Tablet 7 is generally not recommended during pregnancy due to probable risks to the baby. Please consult your doctor for personalised advice regarding its use during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

This tablet is not advised for use in breastfeeding women. If you are currently breastfeeding or planning to start, please consult your doctor before taking this medicine to ensure the safety and appropriateness of its use.

Alcohol

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs): Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen, indomethacin or selective cyclooxygenase-2 (Cox-2) can result in worsening of kidney function, including acute kidney failure when taken with Neptaz 200 Tablet 7.
Antidepressants: Antidepressants such as lithium may lead to Increased serum concentrations.

Hypotension (low blood pressure): Neptaz 200 Tablet 7 may lower the blood pressure further.
Diabetes: The use of Neptaz 200 Tablet 7 may induce hypoglycaemia.
Angioedema (rapid oedema or swelling beneath the skin): This tablet may worsen the condition.
Kidney disease: Neptaz 200 Tablet 7 can further worsen this condition.
Liver disease: Neptaz 200 Tablet 7 can further worsen this condition.
