Rumalef 10 Tablet is a medicine used to manage active rheumatoid arthritis and active psoriatic arthritis in adults. It helps reduce joint inflammation, pain, and stiffness, supporting long-term joint function and disease control.
It contains leflunomide, an immunosuppressive disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD). Take it as prescribed by your doctor, usually swallowing the tablet whole with water. Continue taking it regularly for the full duration prescribed, even if you notice improvement, as stopping suddenly can cause symptoms to return.
Lifestyle measures can help support joint comfort alongside medical treatment. These include low-impact joint exercises, physical therapy, maintaining a healthy weight, and ensuring adequate rest during periods of joint discomfort.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver disease, severe kidney impairment, active infections, or immune system disorders. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your doctor may monitor your liver function and blood counts at regular intervals.
