CLEFT 10 Tablet 10 is used to treat active rheumatoid arthritis and active psoriatic arthritis in adults. It helps to reduce joint inflammation, slow joint damage and improve physical function.

Uses of CLEFT 10 Tablet 10 are:

• Rheumatoid Arthritis: Helps reduce joint pain and swelling and slow structural damage.
• Psoriatic Arthritis: Helps manage joint inflammation and symptoms.
• Disease Modification: Helps slow the progression of joint damage in rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis.

Follow these instructions while taking CLEFT 10 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing, breaking, or chewing the tablet.
• Do not alter the dosage or stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor first.

CLEFT 10 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

CLEFT 10 Tablet 10 contains leflunomide (10 mg). The medicine acts on the body through the following mechanisms:

• Pyrimidine Synthesis Inhibition: Leflunomide blocks the formation of pyrimidine, a compound required for the multiplication of rapidly dividing cells. This includes the overactive immune cells that cause inflammation in arthritis.
• Immune System Suppression: By inhibiting pyrimidine synthesis, leflunomide effectively reduces the activity of the immune system. This helps to decrease inflammation and slow the progression of rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis.
