Rufus 500mcg Tablet is used to prevent chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a set of lung diseases in which the passage of air to the lungs is obstructed. It works by making breathing easier by opening the airways. Rufus 500mcg Tablet can be taken with or without food, however it's best if you take it at the same time every day. What you take it for determines the dose and frequency with which you take it. Your doctor will determine how much improvement you require. You should take this medication for the entire time that it has been recommended for you. Do not miss a single dose; if you do, take it as soon as you remember or, better yet, ignore the missing dose and continue with your usual dosing schedule. It does not prevent the onset of breathing problems or COPD, therefore keep your medical inhaler on hand in case of an emergency.
