Rozustat-ASP Capsule is used to lower the risk of heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular events in adults, including those with a history of ischaemic stroke, transient ischaemic attack (TIA) or certain procedures to restore blood flow to the heart.
It contains rosuvastatin, a statin that lowers cholesterol, and aspirin, an antiplatelet medicine that helps prevent blood clots. Take it as prescribed, generally with food to reduce stomach irritation, and continue taking it even when you feel well, as it works to prevent future events rather than treat symptoms.
A diet low in saturated fat, regular physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight and avoiding smoking support treatment with this medicine and help protect your heart.
Tell your doctor about any history of stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, liver or kidney problems, or other medicines you take before starting this medicine. Report any unusual bleeding or bruising, black or bloody stools, or muscle pain and weakness to your doctor promptly.
