Rozucor ASP 20/150 Capsule is used for the following:

• Prevention of heart attacks in high-risk individuals

• Minimising the chances of strokes in people at a higher risk

• Management of high cholesterol levels

• Reducing the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with a history of heart disease

Taking Rozucor ASP 20/150 Capsule involves the following steps:

• Swallow a capsule whole, without crushing or chewing it.

• It is recommended to take it around the same time each day for consistency.

Rozucor ASP 20/150 Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Aspirin (150 mg): As an NSAID, aspirin helps prevent blood clotting. It does this by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the body, called prostaglandins, which can lead to inflammation, pain and fever. In terms of heart health, it stops platelets from clumping together to form clots, thereby reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): As a statin, rosuvastatin acts on an enzyme in your liver called HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme is crucial for making cholesterol in your body. By blocking this enzyme, rosuvastatin effectively reduces the amount of low-density lipoprotein (LDL or 'bad' cholesterol) and triglycerides in your blood while increasing the levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL or 'good' cholesterol).

• Store Rozucor ASP 20/150 Capsule in a tightly sealed, light-resistant container.

• Keep at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Avoid exposure to excessive heat or damp conditions.
