Roxid M Tablet is used to treat a wide range of respiratory tract infections. It works against the bacteria causing the infection and helps prevent it from recurring, while also thinning thick mucus (phlegm) to make coughing easier.

It contains roxithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic, and ambroxol, a mucolytic. Take it at the same time each day, with or without food, as prescribed. Complete the full course of treatment even if you start to feel better.

Staying well hydrated helps loosen mucus and makes it easier to clear. Getting adequate rest and avoiding smoke or smoky environments can also support recovery.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any liver problems, known antibiotic allergies, or other medicines you take. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve, see your doctor. Do not stop the course of medicine abruptly.
