Remo MV 500 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults, controlling blood sugar through three different actions. It is a combination medicine containing remogliflozin etabonate, vildagliptin and metformin, and belongs to the class of antidiabetic medicines.
Good control lowers the long-term risk of kidney, eye, nerve and heart damage, as the three medicines lower blood sugar through complementary mechanisms. Take it with food as prescribed to reduce stomach upset, and continue it alongside diet and exercise. Use the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
A balanced diet, regular physical activity and routine blood sugar monitoring support better control alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, or if you drink alcohol regularly, before starting this medicine, and about any other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Speak to your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. Metformin can rarely cause a serious condition called lactic acidosis, so seek urgent advice if severe weakness, vomiting, dehydration or breathing difficulty develops. Report any side effects that persist or become serious. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
