Rekool 20 Tablet is used to manage acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It helps control the backflow of stomach acid into the food pipe, heals ulcers in the stomach or small intestine, and reduces excessive stomach acid production associated with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

1. Swallow Rekool 20 Tablet whole with water; do not split, chew, or crush them.
2. Follow the prescribed dosage and frequency carefully.
3. Continue taking Rekool 20 Tablet even if you feel well unless directed otherwise by your doctor.

Rekool 20 Tablet is to be taken orally, which means you need to swallow it with water. It is not meant for any other route of administration.

Rekool 20 Tablet contains the active ingredient rabeprazole.

• Rabeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor that works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in your stomach.
• It blocks the enzyme responsible for producing stomach acid.
• By reducing stomach acid levels, it relieves symptoms like heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and coughing caused by excess acid.
• Rabeprazole helps heal acid damage to your stomach and oesophagus by reducing the production of corrosive gastric acid.
• Additionally, it may help prevent the development of ulcers and oesophagal cancer by maintaining a healthy balance of acid in these areas.

• Keep Rekool 20 Tablets at room temperature, away from excess heat and moisture.
• Protect the medicine from direct light and humidity.
• Keep it out of reach of children.
• Use the medicine before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• Avoid spicy, fatty, and acidic foods that can trigger acid reflux.
• Eat smaller, frequent meals instead of large ones to prevent overeating.
• Limit caffeine and alcohol intake as they can worsen acid reflux symptoms.
• Avoid lying down immediately after eating. Wait for at least two hours before lying down or going to bed.
• Elevate your head while sleeping by using an extra pillow or raising the head of your bed to reduce nighttime acid reflux.
