Ranidom-RD Tablet is used to treat GERD, acid reflux, stomach ulcers, and excess acid production.

Uses of Ranidom-RD Tablet are:

• GERD and Acid Reflux: Reduces acid production to relieve heartburn, sour belching, and oesophageal discomfort.
• Stomach Ulcers: Promotes healing of the stomach lining and prevents recurrence of peptic ulcers.

Here's how you should take Ranidom-RD Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
• Take this medicine at least one hour before meals.
• Do not alter the dose without consulting your doctor.
• You should not stop taking this medicine abruptly. Consult your doctor if you wish to stop.

Ranidom-RD Tablet is taken orally.

Ranidom-RD Tablet consists of two main active ingredients:

• Domperidone (15 mg): This component functions as a prokinetic agent. It works by blocking dopamine receptors found in an area of the brain known as the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ). By doing so, it effectively increases the movement of the stomach and intestines which aids in digestion.
• Esomeprazole (20 mg): As a proton pump inhibitor, esomeprazole works by blocking an enzyme in the stomach wall responsible for producing acid. This action reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach, thereby providing relief from acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

• Store Ranidom-RD Tablet in a cool and dry place, ideally at a temperature below 30°C.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
