Ranidom-RD Tablet is used to treat GERD, acid reflux, and stomach ulcers. It reduces stomach acid, protects the oesophagus, and relieves symptoms such as chest burning, sour belching, indigestion, and upper abdominal discomfort.

Here's how you should take Ranidom-RD Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
• Take this medicine at least one hour before meals.
• Do not alter the dose without consulting your doctor.
• You should not stop taking this medicine abruptly. Consult your doctor if you wish to stop.

Ranidom-RD Tablet is taken orally.

Ranidom-RD Tablet consists of two main active ingredients:

• Domperidone (15 mg): This component functions as a prokinetic agent. It works by blocking dopamine receptors found in an area of the brain known as the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ). By doing so, it effectively increases the movement of the stomach and intestines which aids in digestion.
• Esomeprazole (20 mg): As a proton pump inhibitor, esomeprazole works by blocking an enzyme in the stomach wall responsible for producing acid. This action reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach, thereby providing relief from acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

• Store Ranidom-RD Tablet in a cool and dry place, ideally at a temperature below 30°C.
• Ensure the tablet packaging is not exposed to direct sunlight or excessive heat.
• Keep it sealed in its original package to prevent exposure to air and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• If you're taking Ranidom-RD Tablet for acid reflux, try to avoid foods that trigger your symptoms. This could include spicy dishes, fatty foods, and caffeine-loaded drinks like coffee and cola.
• Regularly engage in gentle exercise such as walking or cycling, which can help reduce symptoms by improving digestive health.
