The effectiveness of Ramistar-H 5 Tablet lies in the combined actions of its two active ingredients:

• Ramipril (5 mg): As an Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, Ramipril works by blocking the action of ACE, which is an enzyme in your body. This enzyme is responsible for converting angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels and increases blood pressure. By inhibiting ACE, Ramipril helps widen blood vessels and thus, brings about a decrease in blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This ingredient is a thiazide diuretic. It functions by increasing the excretion of sodium and water from your body through the kidneys. This process leads to a reduction in blood volume and consequently, a decrease in blood pressure.

• Store Ramistar-H 5 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30 degrees Celsius.
