Ramihart H 5 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Managing hypertension or high blood pressure
• Used in combination with other antihypertensive medicines

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• If you feel the need to adjust your dose, consult your doctor first.
• Do not stop taking this medicine abruptly without consulting your doctor.

The effectiveness of Ramihart H 5 Tablet 10 is due to the two active ingredients it contains:

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This component functions as a diuretic, reducing sodium and chloride reabsorption in the distal convoluted tubule of the kidneys. By increasing the excretion of water and electrolytes—including sodium, potassium, chloride, and magnesium—it helps reduce intravascular volume and sodium levels, which assists in managing high blood pressure.
• Ramipril (5 mg): As an ACE inhibitor, ramipril prevents the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a vasoconstrictor that narrows blood vessels. This action reduces vasopressor activity and decreases aldosterone secretion, resulting in blood vessel dilation and a reduction in blood pressure. Additionally, ramipril increases bradykinin levels, further enhancing its antihypertensive effects.
