Prupride 2 Tablet 10 used for the management of chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) in adults, where bowel movements are infrequent or incomplete without an identifiable cause. It works by improving gut motility, which helps to maintain regular and easy bowel movements. This medicine provides relief for patients who have not found adequate results from other laxatives, thus enhancing their quality of life.

Follow these instructions while taking Prupride 2 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew or crush the tablet.
• Take the medicine according to your doctor's instructions.
• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.
• Inform your doctor about all other medicines you are currently taking.

Prupride 2 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Prupride 2 Tablet 10 contains prucalopride (2 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Selective 5-HT4 receptor agonist: Prucalopride stimulates the 5-HT4 receptors in the gastrointestinal tract. These receptors play a significant role in controlling gut movement.
