Pentab 40 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), a chronic condition where stomach acid flows back into the food pipe causing heartburn and acid reflux.

• Handling Erosive Esophagitis, an inflammation and erosion of the lining of the food pipe due to stomach acid.

• Controlling Peptic Ulcer Disease, which causes open sores on the inner lining of the stomach and upper part of the small intestine.

• Managing Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, a rare condition caused by tumours that secrete large amounts of stomach acid.

Follow these instructions while taking Pentab 40 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• It should preferably be taken in the morning before meals.

• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Pentab 40 Tablet is taken orally.
