CompositionParkitidin Tablet contains amantadine and is primarily used to manage the motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease. It also serves as an effective treatment for reducing pain associated with shingles (herpes zoster).

Parkitidin Tablet is used to treat Parkinson’s disease and shingles (herpes zoster). It helps manage the motor symptoms of Parkinson’s and alleviates the pain and discomfort associated with shingles.
Parkitidin Tablet should be taken orally.
Parkitidin Tablet may cause swollen ankles, red patchy spots on the skin, mood swings, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, fast or irregular heartbeat, muscle pain, dry mouth, and sweating.
Most of the side effects of this tablet are usually mild and often do not require urgent medical attention. They improve with continued usage of the medicine. However, if the side effects persist or worsen or something other than that listed above occurs, inform your doctor immediately.

Parkitidin Tablet is not recommended in pregnant women.
Parkitidin Tablet is not recommended in breastfeeding women.
Consumption of alcohol with Parkitidin Tablet may further worsen the side effects of this tablet. It is advised not to consume alcohol while taking this tablet.
Parkitidin Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver diseases. Inform your doctor if you suffer from liver disease.
Parkitidin Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney diseases. Inform your doctor if you suffer from kidney disease.
Taking Parkitidin Tablet may cause blurring of vision, dizziness, confusion, or difficulty concentrating and affect your ability to react. It's advised to refrain from driving or operating machinery after taking this tablet.
If you are allergic to amantadine hydrochloride, do not take this tablet. Read the label carefully before using this medication.
Parkitidin Tablet is not suitable for use in children.
If you are 65 years or above, be cautious about the use of Parkitidin Tablet. Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications and suffer from heart, liver or kidney diseases so that accordingly dosage and duration will be decided for taking this tablet.

If you forget to take a Parkitidin Tablet, take it as soon as possible. If the time for the next dosage is close, skipping the missed one is recommended, and resume your regular dosage routine. Never increase the dosage without the doctor’s knowledge.
