CompositionParkitidin Tablet is used mainly to help manage the movement symptoms of Parkinson's disease, and it is sometimes used for certain types of nerve pain, as decided by your doctor.
It contains amantadine. It works by increasing the activity of dopamine in the brain and acting on certain nerve signals, which helps improve movement.
Take it as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly, as symptoms can worsen. Take the last dose earlier in the day if it disturbs sleep.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, heart problems or mental health conditions before use. Report ankle swelling, mottled skin, confusion, mood changes or a fast or irregular heartbeat.
