Panthegel Ointment is used to manage dry eyes, corneal surface damage, and eye irritation. It provides long-lasting lubrication, supports healing of corneal injuries, and offers comfort after eye surgery or during allergic eye conditions.

Here's how to use Panthegel Ointment:

• Clean your hands thoroughly before you start.

• Slightly tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid.

• Put 1-2 drops or a small amount of gel into your eye.

• Close your eyes and move your eyeballs around to spread the gel evenly.

• Make sure not to touch the tip of the tube to your eye or any other surface.

• Replace the cap tightly after each use.

• Always follow your doctor's instructions, typically using the gel 3-4 times daily or as needed.

Panthegel Ointment is applied topically.

Panthegel Ointment contains dexpanthenol (5%), which influences the body as follows:

• Wound Healing and Epithelial Regeneration: Dexpanthenol promotes wound healing and helps repair the epithelial cells on your eye's surface.

• Increased Fibroblast Proliferation and Collagen Synthesis: The ingredient encourages fibroblast cell growth, which aids in collagen synthesis—an essential protein for maintaining the structure of your eyes.

• Lubrication and Hydration: Dexpanthenol provides lubrication and hydration to help maintain moisture on your ocular surface.

• Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Properties: It exerts anti-inflammatory effects reducing inflammation in ocular conditions while also displaying antioxidant properties that protect your eyes from harmful free radicals.

• Keep Panthegel Ointment stored at room temperature below 30°C.

• Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always ensure the tube is tightly closed when not in use.

• Keep it out of the reach from children for safety.

• If you have dry eyes or other ocular conditions, increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids, which can be found in fish like salmon and mackerel. This nutrient contributes to the health of the meibomian gland, which produces the oil layer in tears.

• Try to reduce exposure to screens, which can exacerbate dry eyes. If screen time is unavoidable due to work or other commitments, ensure you take regular breaks. This means every 20 minutes, look away from your screen for at least 20 seconds. This is known as the '20-20-20 rule'.
