PANSEC DSR Capsule is used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid-related indigestion (dyspepsia) and peptic ulcers. It combines pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, with domperidone, a prokinetic medicine, to relieve symptoms such as heartburn, upper abdominal bloating and nausea.
Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid the stomach produces, while domperidone speeds up the movement of food through the stomach, together easing the backflow of acid, bloating and associated digestive discomfort.
Take this capsule before a meal, generally in the morning, exactly as your doctor prescribes, and continue for the duration advised for your particular condition.
Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem, as domperidone needs caution in this situation. Long-term use of the proton pump inhibitor component can affect magnesium and vitamin B12 levels, so tell your doctor if you notice unusual tiredness or muscle cramps.
