CompositionOsteofos 35 Tablet is used to treat and prevent osteoporosis and Paget's disease of bone. It contains Alendronate 35 mg, a bisphosphonate drug. It works by inhibiting bone breakdown and increasing bone density, which significantly reduces the risk of fractures. It is used for managing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men, as well as for managing glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis and Paget's disease of the bone.
Osteofos 35 Tablet is used to prevent and manage postmenopausal osteoporosis in women and osteoporosis in men. It also treats glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis and Paget's disease, helping strengthen bones and reduce the risk of fractures.
Swallow the tablet whole with a plain glass of water.
Do not chew or suck the tablet.
Always take the tablet on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before your first meal or other medication.
After taking the medicine, remain upright (sitting, standing or walking) for at least 30 minutes and until after your first meal.
