Oral-L Tablet is prescribed for several gynecological and dermatological purposes. It is primarily used to prevent unwanted pregnancy and to help regulate menstrual cycles, making periods more regular. Additionally, it can decrease menstrual blood loss and reduce the pain associated with periods. Oral-L Tablet also lowers the risk of developing ovarian cysts and is beneficial in the management of acne.

Here's how to take Oral-L Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glassful of water. Avoid chewing or crushing it.
• Take the tablet at the same time every day for 21 days in a row.
• After 21 days, take a break for 7 days. You usually get withdrawal bleeding during this break.
• Start your next pack on the 8th day after your last tablet was taken, even if your bleeding hasn't stopped.
• Don't exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Oral-L Tablet is taken orally.

Oral-L Tablet combines two active ingredients:

• Ethinyl Estradiol (0.03 mg): This estrogen compound works by suppressing the secretion of gonadotropins from the pituitary gland. This action inhibits follicular development and ovulation, functioning as an essential part of its contraceptive effect.
• Levonorgestrel (0.15 mg): This progestin compound adds to the contraceptive effect by increasing the thickness of cervical mucus, making it more difficult for sperm to penetrate into the uterus. It also induces endometrial atrophy, reducing the likelihood of embryo implantation.

When taken together as directed, these two compounds provide an effective barrier against pregnancy.

• Store Oral-L Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.
• Keep the medicine in a dry place, safe from direct light and moisture.
• Ensure the medicine is kept out of reach of children.
