Onset 4 Tablet is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. It is also used to manage vomiting caused by stomach infections such as gastroenteritis.
It contains ondansetron, a medicine that blocks the action of a natural chemical in the body which can trigger nausea and vomiting. Take it as advised by your doctor, usually before the start of chemotherapy, radiation, or a procedure.
Eating small, frequent meals, avoiding strong smells or greasy food, and staying well hydrated with small sips of fluid can help alongside this medicine when you are feeling nauseous.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any heart rhythm problems or low levels of potassium or magnesium in your blood. Report a fast or irregular heartbeat, severe constipation, or persistent headache to your doctor.
