Emeset-4 Tablet is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, or gastrointestinal infections. It works by blocking chemical signals in the brain that trigger vomiting, helping improve comfort during medical treatments.

Take an Emeset-4 tablet with a glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet, swallow it as a whole.
Avoid exceeding the dosage recommended by your doctor.

Emeset-4 tablet is administered orally.

Emeset-4 Tablet may cause side effects such as constipation, headache, dizziness, fatigue, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, and mild drowsiness. These side effects are generally mild and temporary. If they persist, worsen, or cause concern, contact your healthcare provider.

Managing the Side Effects:

Here are some natural ways to manage the side effects of Emeset 4 Tablet:

Constipation: Increase your water intake and include more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in your diet.
Headache: Rest in a quiet, dark room and apply a cold compress to your forehead for relief.
Dizziness: Sit or lie down until the dizziness subsides. Slow movements can also help prevent dizziness.

Blocking a particular receptor of serotonin called 5 HT3 receptor, a chemical in the body known to trigger nausea and vomiting. By inhibiting the activity of this chemical messenger, it effectively prevents and reduces the occurrence of nausea and vomiting.

Progressive Ileus and Gastric distension in post-operative patients- it can mask these symptoms which require critical monitoring in post-operative patients.
Heart failure: It may put additional strain on the heart, and its use should be carefully considered in patients with heart failure, as it could worsen their condition.

Daily Dose

The daily dose of Emeset-4 tablet will be decided by your doctor based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. The duration of treatment may also differ depending on the specific condition being treated.

Over Dose

In case of an overdose of Emeset-4 tablet, inform your doctor immediately. You might experience symptoms like sudden loss of vision for a short time, dizziness or lightheadedness, fainting, constipation, and irregular heartbeat.

Missed Dose
