CompositionOmnacortil-30 Tablet is a corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation and calm an overactive immune system in a range of conditions, including severe asthma and allergies, rheumatoid arthritis, skin and eye disorders, and kidney conditions such as nephrotic syndrome.
It contains prednisolone, a corticosteroid. It works by reducing inflammation and calming the immune response.
Take it exactly as prescribed, usually with food. Do not stop it suddenly after longer use, as the dose usually needs to be reduced gradually.
Tell your doctor about any infection, diabetes, high blood pressure or stomach ulcers before use. Avoid contact with people who have chickenpox or measles if you have not had them. Long-term use can affect blood sugar, bone strength and blood pressure.
