Olworm Plus Suspension 10ml is used for managing the following conditions:

• Roundworm infestations, also known as Ascariasis.
• Pinworm infestations, or Enterobiasis.
• Hookworm infestations are referred to as Ancylostomiasis.
• Whipworm infestations, or Trichuriasis.
• Strongyloidiasis is a parasitic disease caused by nematodes.
• Taeniasis, is an infection caused by tapeworms.
• Filariasis, is a tropical disease caused by thread-like filarial worms.
• Cutaneous Larva Migrans, a skin disease caused by hookworm larvae.

Use Olworm Plus Suspension 10ml following these steps:

• Shake the bottle well before every use to ensure the suspension is well-mixed.
• Measure out the correct quantity recommended by your doctor.
• Take this medicine orally; it's best taken on an empty stomach, either one hour before or two hours after a meal.

Olworm Plus Suspension 10ml consists of two active ingredients:

• Albendazole (200 mg): As part of the benzimidazole class of anthelmintic medicines, albendazole works by impairing the formation of cytoplasmic microtubules in the worm intestine. These microtubules are crucial for the absorption of glucose by the worm. When they are disrupted by albendazole, it leads to a reduction in glucose uptake and depletion of glycogen stores in the worm, resulting in its immobilisation and eventual death.
• Ivermectin (1.5 mg): Ivermectin is a member of the avermectin class of anthelmintics. It functions by selectively binding to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels present in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells. This binding increases chloride ions permeability which results in hyperpolarization of the cell membrane leading to paralysis and death of the parasite.

• Store Olworm Plus Suspension 10ml at room temperature.
