Etoricoxib (60 Mg) + Serratiopeptidase (10 Mg)

Nucoxia SP Tablet is used to relieve pain, inflammation and stiffness in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, back pain, dental pain and gout, and after surgery.

It contains etoricoxib, a COX-2 inhibitor (a type of anti-inflammatory painkiller), and serratiopeptidase, an enzyme that helps reduce swelling.

Take it with or after food as prescribed, for the shortest time needed.

Because this class of painkiller can raise blood pressure and cardiovascular risk, tell your doctor about any heart problems, high blood pressure or stomach ulcers before use. Report black stools or ankle swelling.

Nucoxia SP Tablet is used to relieve pain, inflammation and stiffness.

Uses of Nucoxia SP Tablet are:

Arthritis: Relieves joint pain and swelling in arthritis and spondylitis.
Acute Pain: Eases back pain, dental pain and gout attacks.
After Surgery: Reduces pain and swelling after surgery.

Nucoxia SP Tablet should be taken as follows:

Take the tablet orally, with or without food.
Try to take it at the same time each day to get the most benefit.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid chewing, crushing, or breaking it.
Always follow your doctor's instructions regarding how and when to take this medicine.

Nucoxia SP Tablet is taken orally.

Nucoxia SP Tablet may cause side effects, but not everyone gets them.

A few common side effects of Nucoxia SP Tablet are:

Digestive: Diarrhoea, stomach pain, indigestion and flatulence (gas); report black stools.
Circulatory: Swelling of the feet in some people; report marked swelling or chest pain.

If side effects do not improve or become serious, speak to your doctor right away.

Management Of Side Effects:

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve upon discontinuing the use of Nucoxia SP Tablet . However, if you experience any serious side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor. Here are some tips:

Indigestion: To help manage this, consider taking Nucoxia SP Tablet after meals.
Stomach pain: You might find it helpful to take this medicine along with food or milk.

Nucoxia SP Tablet consists of two active ingredients:

Etoricoxib (60 mg): This ingredient belongs to the class of COX-2 inhibitors. Its function is to selectively inhibit the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme. This enzyme is responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins that cause pain, fever and inflammation. By blocking COX-2, etoricoxib effectively reduces these symptoms.
Serratiopeptidase (10 mg): As a proteolytic enzyme, serratiopeptidase works by breaking down abnormal inflammatory proteins and peptides at the site of inflammation. This action helps reduce swelling and promotes healing of injured tissues. Serratiopeptidase also enhances the absorption of etoricoxib.

Pregnancy

Nucoxia SP Tablet is contraindicated during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, make sure to discuss this with your doctor before starting this medicine.

Breastfeeding

Nucoxia SP Tablet is contraindicated for breastfeeding/lactating women. Consult your doctor to understand the potential risks and benefits.

Alcohol
