Nizer Gel is used for local relief of pain and inflammation in muscles and joints.

Uses of Nizer Gel are:

• Sprains and Strains: Helps reduce local pain, swelling, and stiffness after minor soft-tissue injury.
• Sports Injuries: Provides local relief from pain and inflammation at the injured area.
• Joint and Muscle Pain: Helps relieve localised musculoskeletal pain when prescribed.

• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
• Cleanse the affected area of the skin gently and pat it dry.
• Take a small amount of the gel on your fingertips.
• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area and gently massage it into the skin.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, mouth, or broken skin.
• Use the gel as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
• Consult your doctor for specific advice on how often to apply the gel and for how long.

Nizer Gel is applied topically.

Nizer Gel contains the following component:

• Nimesulide (10 mg): It is an NSAID that inhibits enzymes responsible for inflammation. Thus, it helps to control the swelling and redness. It also blocks pain signals, so you don't feel the ache as intensely. 

The storage instructions for Nizer Gel are as follows:

• Nizer Gel should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid heavy exercise, which can worsen joint pain. Instead, strengthen your muscles by using gentle activities like stretching, low-impact aerobic exercises (e.g., walking, cycling, swimming), and light weightlifting.
• Include fatty fish like salmon, trout, tuna, and sardines in your diet. They are rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce inflammation by minimising the production of inflammatory chemicals.
• Pay attention to your sitting posture, especially with pain and inflammation. Try to limit prolonged sitting. Use back support like a rolled-up towel to maintain the natural curve of your spine.
