Nicopenta Lsr Capsule 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Pantoprazole (40 mg): Belonging to the proton pump inhibitor class of medicines, pantoprazole suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly blocking the hydrogen/potassium adenosine triphosphatase enzyme system ('proton pump') in the gastric parietal cells. This action reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach.

• Levosulpiride (75 mg): This prokinetic agent increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food pass through more efficiently. It also acts as an atypical antipsychotic, blocking dopamine receptors in the gut and chemoreceptor trigger zone. This activity reduces nausea, vomiting, and acid reflux.

Together, these ingredients help increase gut motility while reducing gastric acid secretion, providing relief from GERD symptoms.
