Nebistar Ln 5 Tablet 10

Nebistar-LN 5 Tablet is used to manage essential hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults. It helps lower elevated blood pressure, reducing the risk of cardiovascular events like heart attacks and strokes, thus supporting overall heart health and reducing long-term risks.

Administer Nebistar-LN 5 Tablet as follows:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Remember to take it at the same time each day for better efficacy.

• Don't stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well. This could lead to an abrupt increase in your blood pressure.

Nebistar-LN 5 Tablet is taken orally.

Nebistar-LN 5 Tablet contains two active ingredients that act in different ways to manage high blood pressure:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This ingredient is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. It inhibits the flow of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac muscle, causing these blood vessels to relax and widen. This results in a decrease in peripheral vascular resistance and a reduction in blood pressure. Moreover, cilnidipine inhibits sympathetic N-type calcium channels, which reduces the excessive release of norepinephrine and provides an additional blood pressure-lowering effect.

• Nebivolol (5 mg): Nebivolol is a selective beta-1 receptor blocker with vasodilating properties. It blocks the action of certain natural chemicals on the heart and blood vessels, thereby lowering heart rate, myocardial contractility, and peripheral vascular resistance. Nebivolol also stimulates the release of nitric oxide, leading to vasodilation and further reduction in blood pressure.

• Keep Nebistar-LN 5 Tablet in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.

• Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Position the package away from direct sunlight.

• Ensure it is out of reach and sight of children.
