Mucolcer Gel 5Gm

Mucolcer Gel is used to block peripheral pain signals and establish a local protective barrier film to treat painful oral tissue sores.

Uses of Mucolcer Gel are:

• Mouth Ulcers Alleviation: Rapidly deadens burning sensations experienced while eating or speaking.
• Gums Soreness Management: Calms sharp structural pain caused by accidental cheek bites or orthodontic braces irritation.
• Local Mucosal Healing Support: Disinfects micro-abrasions to promote rapid surface layer cell reconstruction.

• Press a small dab (about 1/4 inch) to the lesion until a thin film develops. A larger quantity may be required for coverage of some lesions.
• Do not rub in. 
• Apply this gel at bedtime to permit steroid contact with the lesion throughout the night.

Mucolcer Gel is meant for oral use only. It is not intended for ophthalmic or dermatological use. 

Mucolcer Gel contains triamcinolone acetonide (0.1%). It is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching, and narrows blood vessels. It acts by inhibiting the release of arachidonic acid, which causes the production of inflammatory compounds like prostaglandins and leukotrienes. Hence this gel helps control inflammation due to oral lesions.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 25 ºC.
• Keep Mucolcer Gel away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Brush your teeth gently with a soft-bristle toothbrush and use a mild, non-alcoholic mouthwash. Keeping your mouth clean can help prevent further irritation.
• Avoid acidic or spicy items, such as citrus fruits, tomatoes, and hot peppers, till the ulcers heal.
• Opt for soft and bland foods that are easy to chew and won't irritate your mouth
• Avoid alcohol consumption and quit smoking, as these habits can irritate the mouth and slow down the healing process.
• Be cautious with foods that can cause physical trauma to your mouth, like hard candies or chips.
