Turbocort Paste 15gm

Turbocort Paste is used to treat painful mouth ulcers and inflammatory lesions inside the oral cavity. It helps reduce redness, swelling, and soreness while forming a protective layer over the affected area. This allows faster healing and provides relief from discomfort while eating or speaking.

Use Turbocort Paste as directed below:

• Ensure that the affected area inside your mouth is clean before application.
• It should be applied as directed by your doctor.
• Do not rub in the paste. Allow it to adhere naturally.
• Apply at bedtime to allow the medicine to work overnight. Depending on your symptoms, you may need to apply it 2-3 times a day, preferably after meals.
• Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after applying to ensure uninterrupted contact with the affected area.
• If you don't observe significant improvement within seven days, consult your doctor.

Turbocort Paste is applied topically.

Turbocort Paste contains triamcinolone (0.1 %), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Induces Lipocortin Production: Triamcinolone encourages your body to produce proteins known as lipocortins. These proteins play a significant role in controlling inflammation.
• Inhibits Phospholipase A2: Lipocortins block an enzyme called phospholipase A2. This enzyme usually triggers the release of arachidonic acid from cell membranes, a process that can lead to inflammation.
• Suppresses Inflammatory Response: By preventing the release of arachidonic acid, triamcinolone effectively suppresses the inflammatory response in your body.

• Store Turbocort Paste at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Keep it in a tightly closed container to avoid exposure to air and moisture.
• Ensure the storage area is out of reach of children.

• Maintain good oral hygiene to help manage oral inflammatory conditions. Brush your teeth twice a day, floss daily, and rinse your mouth after meals.
• Avoid spicy, acidic, and hard foods which can irritate oral ulcers or sores. Instead, opt for soft, bland foods till your condition improves.
