Kenacort 0.1% Oral Paste is used to treat painful mouth ulcers and inflammation inside the mouth, such as aphthous stomatitis. It reduces pain, redness and swelling, making eating and speaking more comfortable while the ulcer heals.
It contains triamcinolone, a corticosteroid. It works by reducing the inflammation that causes pain and swelling.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area inside the mouth as directed; do not swallow it. Avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes afterwards.
Tell your doctor about any mouth infection before use, as steroids can lower local resistance. If ulcers do not improve within two weeks, contact your doctor.
