Moximax Eye Drops 10Ml is used to treat bacterial eye infections.

Uses of Moximax Eye Drops 10Ml are:

• Bacterial conjunctivitis: Treats bacterial infection of the eye that causes redness and discharge.

Instil Moximax Eye Drops as follows:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
• Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a pocket.
• Squeeze one drop into the affected eye.
• Keep your eyes closed for 2 to 3 minutes without blinking.
• Wipe off any excess liquid around your eye with a clean tissue.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.

Moximax Eye Drops are instilled topically.

Moximax Eye Drops contain moxifloxacin (0.5%) which works on your body in the following ways:

• Inhibits DNA Gyrase and Topoisomerase IV Enzymes: These are enzymes required for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair and recombination. By inhibiting these enzymes, moxifloxacin hinders these processes.
• Interferes With Bacterial Cell Wall Synthesis: By affecting the cellular functions through its actions on DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes, moxifloxacin disrupts cell wall synthesis leading to cell death.
• Broad Spectrum Activity: Moxifloxacin has a wide range of activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. This means it can manage a variety of bacterial infections effectively.

• Always store Moximax Eye Drops at room temperature, ideally between 15°C to 25°C.
• Keep away from excess heat and moisture.
• Ensure the bottle is well closed.
• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• If you're dealing with bacterial conjunctivitis, maintain good personal hygiene to prevent further infection. This includes washing your hands regularly and avoiding touching your eyes.
• Post eye surgery, ensure you rest your eyes adequately and avoid activities that may strain them.
