Moxiford L Ophthalmic Suspension is used to treat inflammatory eye conditions that respond to steroids and where there is also a risk of bacterial infection. It helps reduce eye inflammation while treating or preventing infection at the same time. It contains loteprednol and moxifloxacin.
It contains a combination of a corticosteroid and a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Shake the bottle well before use and instil the drops into the affected eye as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after use, and avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye.
Avoid wearing contact lenses while using this medicine unless your doctor advises otherwise, as this can increase the risk of eye infection. Protect your eyes from bright light if they feel sensitive during treatment.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other eye conditions, a known allergy to any of its ingredients, or are using other eye medicines. Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if your vision changes.
