Using Moxigram LX Eye Drops is straightforward. Follow these steps:

• Begin by washing your hands thoroughly.

• Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

• Turn the bottle upside down and squeeze gently to instil a few drops into the affected eye(s).

• Close your eyes and press your fingertip gently at the corner of your eye near the nose to prevent the drop from draining out.

• Wait for at least 5 minutes before instilling any other eye drops.

Moxigram LX Eye Drops contain two active ingredients that function differently:

• Moxifloxacin (0.5%): This is a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It performs its bactericidal action by inhibiting bacterial enzymes called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. These enzymes are needed for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. Thus, moxifloxacin prevents bacterial multiplication and aids in healing the infection.

• Loteprednol (0.5%): As a corticosteroid, loteprednol has anti-inflammatory properties. It works by suppressing the production of prostaglandins in your eye tissues, which cause inflammation. This subsequently reduces symptoms such as redness, swelling, and itching.

• Keep Moxigram LX Eye Drops stored at room temperature, below 25°C.
