Monotrate Sr 30 Tablet 10

Monotrate SR 30 Tablet is used to prevent recurrent angina (chest pain) in patients with chronic angina pectoris. It works by widening blood vessels, improving blood flow to the heart, and reducing the frequency and severity of angina episodes. It is not intended for immediate relief during an acute angina attack.

Follow these instructions while taking Monotrate SR 30 Tablet:

Monotrate SR 30 Tablet contains isosorbide mononitrate (30 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Stimulates Guanylate Cyclase: Isosorbide mononitrate stimulates an enzyme called guanylate cyclase in your body. This enzyme helps in increasing the production of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which is important for relaxing your blood vessels.

• Lowers Blood Pressure: By increasing cGMP synthesis, isosorbide mononitrate effectively reduces your blood pressure.
