CompositionMomate Lotion is used to manage inflammatory and itchy skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and scalp dermatitis. It provides targeted relief from redness, swelling, scaling, and localised discomfort on affected skin and scalp areas.
It contains mometasone furoate, a topical corticosteroid. Apply a thin layer to the affected areas as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after application, and avoid covering the treated area with airtight dressings unless instructed. Continue using it for the duration recommended by your doctor, but do not stop or extend treatment without medical guidance.
Alongside medical treatment, avoid known skin triggers such as harsh soaps, hot water, and synthetic fabrics. Keeping the skin gently moisturised with non-perfumed emollients can support skin barrier recovery.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have viral or fungal skin infections, facial acne, or broken skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and inflamed mucous membranes. Inform your doctor if skin irritation, thinning, or lack of improvement occurs after two weeks of treatment.
