CompositionMinoz 100 Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat a range of bacterial infections, including chest, skin, urinary and certain sexually transmitted infections, and it is used to help prevent infection around surgery.
It contains minocycline, a tetracycline antibiotic. It works by stopping bacteria making the proteins they need to grow.
Take it with a full glass of water, and stay upright for a while afterwards. It can make the skin more sensitive to the sun.
It is not suitable in pregnancy or for young children, as tetracyclines can affect developing teeth and bones. Report severe headache with vision changes, dizziness, or a skin rash. Use sunscreen outdoors.
