Mexate 15 Tablet 10 is used to manage severe rheumatoid arthritis, severe psoriasis and certain cancers. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing methotrexate, an antimetabolite and disease-modifying antirheumatic medicine.

This medicine manages severe active rheumatoid arthritis when other treatment has not worked adequately. It also manages severe psoriasis when other treatment has not worked adequately. In addition, it treats certain cancers, including some leukaemias, lymphomas and solid tumours.

Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, and all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. This medicine must not be used during pregnancy; discuss pregnancy, breastfeeding and contraception with your doctor when relevant. Report any persistent or serious side effects to your doctor. Do not stop this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
It's crucial to continue taking this medicine as advised by your doctor.

Mexate 15 Tablet is taken orally.

Mexate 15 Tablet 10 may cause some side effects that are usually mild and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine.
