Composition

Metoprolol Succinate (25 Mg)

Metocard XL 25 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure, angina and heart failure, and to control certain irregular heart rhythms. It reduces the heart's workload and helps lower the risk of future heart problems.

It contains metoprolol, a beta-blocker, in an extended-release form. It works steadily over 24 hours by slowing the heart rate and easing the heart's workload.

Take it at the same time each day as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly, as this can cause a sudden rise in blood pressure or chest pain.

Tell your doctor about any asthma, a slow heart rate, diabetes or circulation problems before use. Report a very slow pulse, marked dizziness or cold hands and feet.
