Megaclox 125/125mg Capsule is used to eliminate various bacterial infections across multiple body systems by halting bacterial cell wall synthesis.

Uses of Megaclox 125/125mg Capsule are:

• Respiratory and ENT Infections: Treats chest infections like bronchitis and pneumonia, as well as tonsillitis, sinusitis, and middle ear infections.
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Resolves deep-seated bacterial skin infections and reduces localised inflammation and swelling.
• Dental Abscesses: Clears severe bacterial infections affecting the teeth, gums, and surrounding jaw structures.
• Genitourinary Tract Infections: Effectively treats bladder, kidney, and urethral bacterial infections.

Take Megaclox 125/125mg Capsule as below:

• Swallow the capsule whole with water.
• Do not crush or chew the capsule.
• This medicine can be taken with or without food.
• Try to take your doses at evenly spaced intervals at the same times each day.

Megaclox 125/125mg Capsule contains the following component:

• Amoxicillin (125 mg): Amoxicillin belongs to the beta-lactam class of antibiotics. It works by inhibiting specific proteins known as penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall. By inhibiting these proteins, the medicine disrupts the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. As a result, the bacterial cells weaken and cannot withstand their internal pressure, leading to cell lysis (a process where cells burst open and die).
• Cloxacillin (125 mg): Also a beta-lactam antibiotic, cloxacillin primarily targets penicillinase-producing staphylococci, a type of bacteria. It prevents these bacteria from forming their cell walls, effectively stopping their growth and multiplication.

• Store Megaclox 125/125mg Capsule at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
• Keep the capsule in a tightly closed container.
• Protect the medicine from excessive heat, light, and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Ensure to use it before the expiry date mentioned on the container.
