Lupituss CPM Suspension comprises two active ingredients:

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (4 mg): This component acts as an antihistamine that competes with histamine at H1-receptor sites on effector cells in our body. By doing so, it prevents histamine from dilating capillaries and causing swelling in the respiratory mucosa. Additionally, its anticholinergic activity suppresses the cough reflex by inhibiting acetylcholine's action.

• Levocloperastine Fendizoate (20 mg): This ingredient works as a centrally acting cough suppressant that targets the cough centre in the medulla, increasing the threshold for coughing. With a rapid onset of action and effects lasting for 3-4 hours, Levocloperastine also has antihistaminic and mild bronchodilator properties which aid in managing coughs and allergic responses.
