Lupisit GM 1/1000 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Lupisit GM 1/1000 Tablet 10:

• Take this tablet with a glass of water.

• Take it with your evening meal for best results.

• Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing it.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you feel well.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Lupisit GM 1/1000 Tablet 10 contains three active ingredients that work together to control blood sugar:

• Glimepiride (1 mg): This component belongs to the sulfonylurea class and works by stimulating the pancreas to secrete more insulin, which helps lower blood glucose levels.

• Metformin (1000 mg): As a biguanide, Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver, decreases intestinal absorption of glucose, and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing glucose uptake and utilisation in the body.

• Sitagliptin (50 mg): This is a Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that increases the levels of incretins, which are natural substances that help lower blood sugar after meals by increasing insulin release from the pancreas and decreasing glucagon levels in a glucose-dependent manner.

• Store Lupisit GM 1/1000 Tablet 10 at room temperature below 30°C.
