LUPIRTIN CAPSULE 10 is used for:

• Managing acute and chronic pain from various causes.

• Alleviating menstrual cramps and dysmenorrhea.

• Assisting in the management of postoperative, post-traumatic, and post-injury pain.

Here's how you should take LUPIRTIN CAPSULE 10:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• It can be taken with or without food.

• Do not crush or chew the capsule.

LUPIRTIN CAPSULE 10 contains Flupirtine (100 mg) which works on your body through several mechanisms:

• Selective neuronal potassium channel opener: This mechanism involves increasing potassium conductance in your neurons which subsequently reduces their excitability and responsiveness to pain stimuli.

• NMDA glutamate receptor antagonist: The medicine indirectly antagonises these receptors which play a critical role in central pain sensitisation pathways. This action modulates the transmission of pain signals in your nervous system.

• Inhibition of calcium influx: By inhibiting calcium influx into neuronal cells, flupirtine helps manage nociception and inflammatory cascades at sites of injury. This contributes to its peripheral analgesic action.

• Store your LUPIRTIN CAPSULE 10 at room temperature.

• Keep it in a tight, light-resistant container to prevent exposure to direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always ensure the medicine is kept well out of reach of children.
