Lupinac Tablet is a medicine used to support and protect kidney function in adults with chronic kidney disease, including diabetes-related kidney damage. It is also used to help protect the kidneys during medical procedures involving contrast dyes.
It contains taurine and acetylcysteine, two protective antioxidants that reduce oxidative stress and cellular damage in kidney tissues. Take the tablet with or after food as prescribed by your doctor to reduce stomach discomfort. Take it regularly for the full recommended duration.
Supporting kidney health involves general protective measures. Maintain optimal blood sugar and blood pressure control, follow a low-sodium diet, stay adequately hydrated, and avoid unnecessary nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have asthma, liver problems, severe heart conditions, or a history of stomach ulcers. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor promptly if you develop an unexplained skin rash or allergic symptoms.
