Lupase 10,000 Tablet is used to manage exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, where the pancreas cannot produce adequate digestive enzymes. By supplementing lipase, protease, and amylase, it improves digestion and nutrient absorption and relieves symptoms such as fatty stools, bloating, and malnutrition.
It contains pancreatin enzymes. Take it with each meal or snack as prescribed, swallowing the tablet whole; do not crush or chew, as this damages the protective enzyme coating. The dose is adjusted based on meal fat content and clinical response.
A nutritionally appropriate diet, adequate hydration, and attending follow-up appointments to assess nutritional status all support management alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any known allergy to pork products (pancreatin is pork-derived), Crohn's disease, or other intestinal conditions. Seek immediate help for a severe allergic reaction. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
