Creon 10000 Capsule is an enzyme replacement therapy used to treat exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, a condition where the pancreas does not produce enough digestive enzymes. It improves the digestion and absorption of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, helping relieve symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, gas, and loose stools.
It contains pancreatin, a mixture of natural digestive enzymes (lipase, protease, and amylase). Take the capsules during or immediately after meals or snacks as prescribed. Swallow the capsule whole with liquid, without crushing or chewing, to ensure the enzymes reach the intestine active. Continue taking it with every meal as advised.
Dietary management plays a key role in managing pancreatic insufficiency. Eating frequent smaller meals, maintaining adequate fluid intake, and working with a dietitian to balance fat and vitamin intake can enhance digestion.
