CompositionLosar-25 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and heart failure, and to help protect kidney function in people with diabetes. Good control lowers the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney damage.
It contains losartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by relaxing the blood vessels, which improves blood flow and reduces the workload on the heart.
Take it regularly as prescribed, even when you feel well.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any kidney problems or raised potassium before starting. Feeling dizzy is more likely at the start of treatment.
